On December 22, 2021, the Sixth Council of the Ninth China Association of Exhibition Centers (CAEC) was successfully held via online video conference at 9 o'clock in the morning. More than 130 members of the CAEC attended the meeting. There should have been 145 people at the 6th Council of the Ninth CAEC, but there were 130 people there, which is in line with the number of attendees required by law.

The meeting was presided over by Zheng Shijun, the chairman of the CAEC, and Huang Biao, president of Lingtong Exhibition System Co., Ltd. and vice chairman of CAEC, delivered a work report on behalf of the secretariat.

The CAEC has always been a leader and "parent" of China's convention and exhibition industry. The CAEC has increased its membership from 4,597 at the end of last year to 5,090 at the end of 2021 through unremitting efforts. The membership team has grown rapidly, and the Association's electronic publication "Zhanxie News", website, and WeChat platform are fully utilized. Composing and distributing the "2020-2021 the CAEC Member Directory" is the company's publicity role. Through a continuous process of strengthening its own construction, the CAEC has continuously promoted the standardized development of the exhibition industry market by enhancing industry self-discipline. We will do this by strengthening member management, deepening the horizontal connections between industry and members, ensuring the common interests of all member units, utilizing the association as a bridge and link, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the exhibition industry.

During the discussion, participants discussed freely and expressed their opinions and suggestions fully. After voting, the meeting reviewed and approved the work report of the 6th Council of the Ninth CAEC and the work plan for 2022, elected and approved Comrade Huang Biao as vice chairman and secretary-general, and confirmed the time and location of the Tenth AGM.
