Huang Biao, CEO of Lingtong Exhibition System Co, Ltd., attended the Development Planning Summit of China's Convention and Exhibition Companies in the New Era in Nanjing

On July 28th, the Development Planning Summit of China's Convention and Exhibition Companies in the New Era in Nanjing (hereinafter referred to as the "Summit") hosted by the China Association For Exhibition Centers was successfully held in Fairmont Nanjing. Heads of domestic exhibition companies and industry associations, exhibition experts, representatives from government exhibition management agencies and mainstream media attended the summit. Huang Biao, the rotating chairman of the association and CEO of Lingtong Exhibition System Co, Ltd., was invited to participate in the Summit and deliver a keynote speech.

The Summit was chaired by Zheng Shijun, vice chairman and head of the secretariat of the China Association For Exhibition Centers. Zhang Jinyun, chairman of the China Association For Exhibition Centers and Oriental Universal International Convention &Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., and Liang Jie, chairman of Nanjing Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, delivered speeches at the Summit. The Summit focused on the theme of "New Era, New Planning, New Momentum - Innovation of Chinese Exhibition Enterprises". Through a series of keynote speeches, summit dialogues, round-table discussions, industry seminars and other activities, we conducted in-depth interpretation and professional discussions on hot issues such as the construction of the modern Chinese exhibition industry, accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation, the new planning and new momentum of Chinese exhibition companies, and the top-level design of exhibition venue operations. The atmosphere of the on-site Summit was enthusiastic.

At the Summit, Huang Biao, the rotating chairman of the association and CEO of Lingtong Exhibition System Co, Ltd., gave a professional sharing on the theme of "Promoting Green Exhibition from Concept to Practice". Mr. Huang introduced the development process of how to realize green exhibition from concept to practice step by step from three aspects: the current development status of green exhibition, the path to realize green exhibition, and the practice of green exhibition in the exhibition industry. At the same time, Mr. Huang said that the green exhibition is of great significance and needs to be realized through the joint efforts of the government, organizers, exhibition halls, service providers, exhibitors, and audience. Green exhibition is a process of gradual evolution, and promoting the green and sustainable development of the exhibition industry is a cause that requires long-term struggle. Finally, Mr. Huang called on everyone to pay attention to various green exhibition policies and set an example, actively become the promoter and practitioner of green exhibition, as well as making positive contributions to the promotion and implementation of green exhibition concept.

The Summit also carried out the introduction of "Exhibition Engineering Companies and Exhibition Venue Engineering Department Level (Industry Self-discipline)", as well as the analysis of the exhibition statistics in the first half of 2023 by the China Association For Exhibition Centers. It released the “China Association For Exhibition Centers Statistics 2023 Local Exhibition Support Policies Compilation”.

2023 is the year of the comprehensive recovery of the exhibition industry, and the year for the China Association For Exhibition Centers to explore market-oriented reform. This Summit has established an important platform for cooperation and exchange among domestic exhibition industry units. Participants deeply explored and studied new paths for the development of China's exhibition industry, focusing on the important theme of "New Era, New Planning, New Momentum - Innovation of Chinese Exhibition Enterprises", which increased confidence and motivation for the innovative development of the exhibition industry.
