Forum of Global Exhibition 2022 held in Beijing!

The "Forum of Global Exhibition 2022", co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Global Alliance for Trade in Services, and organized by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province and the Bureau of Foreign Trade Development of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.

Forum of Global Exhibition 2022 Site

Since 2016, Forum of Global Exhibition has been successfully held for six sessions, playing an active role in strengthening communication and coordination, information exchange, resource sharing and promoting international economic and trade exchanges and cooperation among international exhibition organizations. This forum is upgraded to a national forum for the first time, focusing on the theme of "Global Exhibition-Create New Blueprint, Share New Opportunities", focusing on new elements, new rules and new patterns in the exhibition field, integrating global exhibition resources, and jointly promoting the innovative development of the global exhibition industry.

The forum held a roundtable dialogue on the topic of "Opportunities and Challenges - Accelerating the Innovative Development of the Exhibition Industry", in which Wang Jinzhen, former Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Chen Advanced, Honorary Chairman of the International Association of Exhibition Industry and Chairman of the Yangtze River Delta Exhibition Alliance, Yuan Zaiqing, President of China Yuan Zaiqing, President of China Association of Exhibition Economics, Zhong Yongxi, Mainland Representative of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Lin Shunjie, Chairman of China International Exhibition Center Group Limited, and Chen Cui, General Manager of Zhejiang Yuanda International Exhibition Co. 

At the meeting, the Department of Trade in Services and Business Services of the Ministry of Commerce released the China Exhibition Industry Development Report 2021. Hangzhou Municipal People's Government promoted the first Global Digital Trade Fair, which is the only national and global professional exhibition with the theme of digital trade in China.

At the project signing ceremony held at the forum, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation with Hannover Messe Germany, the China Ningbo Export Commodities (Germany) Exhibition and Sales Center, the Benin (West Africa) China Commodities Exhibition, the cooperation agreement between Hangzhou Municipal Development Exhibition Industry Service Center and Information Corporate Management (Shanghai) Co. Sourcing Fair and other 6 projects to further strengthen the bilateral exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises and promote investment and trade. The site also set up the Zhejiang Digital Trade Innovation and Development Fund.

Leaders from the General Administration of Customs, the National Bureau of Statistics and other national ministries and commissions, as well as representatives of domestic and foreign business associations, exhibition companies, entrepreneurs and experts and scholars from the exhibition industry and representatives from the business system, etc. more than 200 guests attended the forum offline.
