In order to further implement the in-depth cooperation between school and enterprise, promote the integration between industry and education, and cultivate professional talents of convention and exhibition, on the morning of August 30th,  Secretary Zhang Yucheng and Dean Yan Kewu of the School of Culture and Tourism of the Jiangsu University of Technology came to LINGTONG for a visit and research to discuss matters related school-enterprise cooperation. Huang Biao, the president of Changzhou Exhibition and Convention Industry Association(CECIA) and president of LingTong Exhibition System Co., Ltd, and Wu Yujin, the vice president of CECIA and Executive Director of Changzhou Olympic Stadium Management Co., Ltd. Accompanied the research.

The research group first visited LINGTONG green environmental showroom. The showroom presents the different use effects of LINGTONG modular exhibition equipment in different industries and scenes. LINGTONG soundproof room, party construction culture design, and fast-build application of modular environmental-friendly exhibition equipment were fully affirmed by teachers and leaders from the school through a detailed visit to showroom products and scene applications.

After visiting the showroom, the college leaders took a seat in the conference room, where Huang Biao, the president of CECIA and LINGTONG, introduced the main work content of CECIA in 2021-2022, and Liu Yan, the deputy manager of LINGTONG exhibition business division introduced the basic situation of LINGTONG and related content of promoting school-enterprise cooperation in detail. Then Wu Yujin, the vice president of CECIA and Executive Director of Changzhou Olympic Stadium Management Co., Ltd. said that talents are needed for both venue operation and exhibition promotion, and it’s urgent to train exhibition talents and at the same time, and also pay attention to the high-quality integration of the “tourism, exhibition and sports”. Only in this way can the development of Changzhou’s exhibition and convention industry be promoted more quickly.

At the meeting, the school and enterprise discussed the cooperation mode, the student talent training, building a cooperative research platform, and promoting the urban exhibition and other work. Dean Yan Kewu mainly emphasized three aspects of school-enterprise cooperation: First, horizontal integration, starting from three levels of student training, teacher growth, and student success, integrating the school and enterprise, academics and research, and students and positions. Second, vertical integration, as the tourism major is currently one of the ten cultivation points of the school, which can adopt the online and offline intelligent integrated mode to further enhance the professional ability of students. Third, in cooperation mode, after the deep integration of college and enterprise, the professional structure of the college can also be further enhanced, so a single school-enterprise cooperation class can be set up in the later stage depending on the situation. Secretary Zhang Yucheng also said that the School of Culture and Tourism of the Jiangsu University of Technology constantly promotes the specialization of integration of production and cooperation, and cooperates with Changzhou Xinghe Renaissance Hotel, Changshu and other local hotels and Dinosaur Land Group, and other cooperation. On the other hand, the university is also actively promoting the declaration of the Master of Tourism Administration program, committed to improving the quality of professional talents. He expressed that he hoped to conduct school-enterprise cooperation with LINGTONG so that students majoring in culture and tourism could have more practical opportunities. At that time, outstanding alumni of LINGTONG could be invited back to their alma mater to share and exchange their experience in the exhibition industry, so that students could have a deeper understanding of the exhibition.

After the meeting, LINGTONG and the School of Culture and Tourism of the Jiangsu University of Technology reached a cooperation intention in the training of exhibition talents and school-enterprise cooperation, which provided a new opportunity to realize the organic combination and optimal allocation of school-enterprise resources and innovate the training mechanism of exhibition talents. In the future, LINGTONG will also continue to deepen school-enterprise cooperation, and further strengthen cooperation and communication with universities in the fields of talent training, industrial research and development, high-level talent introduction, and so on, opening a new situation of talent training.
