Starting at 12:01 am on March 15 (Monday), venues including function centers, stadiums, restaurants, bars, theaters and concert halls can hold events at 75% of their capacity.

If the capacity of the "two square meter rule" exceeds 75% of the capacity of the venue, the venue and its events will have greater choices.

The "two square meter rule" will continue to apply to all other venues and facilities with unfixed seats, including events and festivals with unfixed seats, and outdoor venues with unfixed seats, including pop-up bars and outdoor cinemas.

Prime Minister Mark McGowan said: "Thanks to the hard work of Western Australia, these changes are now achievable. They have brought the virus under control and ensured that there is no community transmission in Western Australia."
