Q: What is the China Association for Exhibition Centers (CAEC)?

A: The China Association for Exhibition Centers (abbreviation: China Exhibition Association, CAEC) was registered and established in June 1984 with the Ministry of Civil Affairs in China. It is currently the only national exhibition industry organization in China. It is a national AAA-level association and is also a national member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). The business section in charge is the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. CAEC is mainly participated by exhibition organizers, exhibition venues, exhibition centers, exhibition engineering companies, exhibition transportation companies, exhibition media, universities, exhibition research institutions, and enterprises and institutions related to the exhibition industry and with legal personality to participate voluntarily. At present, there are more than 4,000 members distributed in 33 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and special administrative regions across the country except for Taiwan. The business scope of members covers all links of the entire exhibition industry chain.

In order to adapt to the rapid development of China's exhibition industry and to respond to competition and cooperation in the international exhibition industry, in accordance with the general opinions of the industry and approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the China Exhibition Association has established an Exhibition organization professional committee, an Exhibition engineering professional committee, an Exhibition theory research committee, an Exhibition engineering professional committee. China Exhibition Association is gradually becoming a national exhibition industry association.

Since its establishment, the China Association for Exhibition Centers has been actively serving the industry, serving its members, and providing a platform for information exchanges between the government and the industry, and has been praised and recognized by the industry. The China Exhibition Association has successfully organized forum activities with different themes and organized many networking activities aimed at strengthening the association's internal contacts and communication.
