Co-organized by the Grassland Bureau, the Hohhot Customs of the People’s Republic of China, and the Shanghai Natural History Museum, the "Watching an Endangered Animal Exhibition" with the theme of "Protecting Wild Animals and Building a Green Great Wall" was officially launched on August 2. He and the leaders of the Grassland Bureau attended the launching ceremony and gave a speech. 　　 

Every time the hour hand of a clock moves over a digit, three kinds of creatures on the earth will disappear forever. Currently, there are 593 species of birds, 209 species of amphibians and reptiles, and more than 400 species of beasts in the world. In the "Watching an Endangered Animal Exhibition", the Inner Mongolia Museum of Natural History collected more than 100 precious specimens of endangered wild animals from home and abroad. This is the first time they have met with the public. The entire exhibition focuses on endangered animals, showing the impact of human social development on animals, explaining the spirit of harmony between man and nature, and discovering, analyzing, and solving problems as the context. The exhibition is mainly divided into endangered reality, endangered causes, and solutions. Three themed areas of Zhidao. The "Endangered Reality" part takes the five major extinctions that occurred at the end of the Ordovician, the late Carboniferous, the end of the Permian, the end of the Triassic, and the end of the Mesozoic as the time axis to describe the fact that species disappeared. The core display is divided into five areas: polar ice field, polar tundra, a wetland in Inner Mongolia, forest, and grassland. With the characteristic "pan-arctic" as the entry point, it passes through polar bears, arctic foxes, wild ducks, plovers, red deer, black bears, etc. The specimens of endangered animals are combined with pictures and texts to vividly display the survival status of wild animals and the huge survival crisis faced by "pan-Arctic" animals; the "Causes of Endangerment" section vividly describes the four main reasons for the endangerment of wild animals, namely: Habitat destruction, overexploitation, global changes and alien species invasions show the reasons that affect the survival of wildlife from both regional and global perspectives, and guide visitors to find the root; the "Solution" section is from two perspectives of concept and implementation Explain the ways to protect endangered animals, and through various creative interactive activities, such as looking for wild animals, releasing games, etc., let the audience listen to and touch wild animals to increase their sense of participation and arouse a sense of common protection. 　　 

On the same day, Inner Mongolia Natural History Museum also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Natural History Museum. The two sides will conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation in scientific research, science education, science film shooting, science exhibition, specimen exchange, talent exchange, publicity, and promotion.
